FACILITY
In September of 2003, Capitol Presort strategically opened its first facility in a new, climate-controlled building located directly across the street from the Harrisburg Post Office. In 2012 we decided to join our letter and flat sorting operations under one roof. We are now operating out of a 50,000 square foot, air conditioned facility which is just a few blocks from our former building and the USPS facility in Harrisburg.
TECHNOLOGY
- MLOCR (Multi-Line Optical Character Reader) sorting systems for letter mail with a throughput of 36,000 pieces per hour
- An automated system for flat mail which involves the most advanced sorting capabilities available
- State-of-the-art OCR & printing technology
- USPS CASS certified barcode with Postal Logic Software
- Fast Forward & Parascript software, meeting or exceeding all USPS requirements
SECURITY
Capitol Presort has a vital interest in providing our customers with the highest level of secure mail processing services. To this end, we have installed commercial grade security systems which include security cameras, card access and alarms for all points of entry. All of our employees are subject to background checks and random drug testing.
